Models and algorithm for the orienteering problem in a fuzzy environment

Published in International Journal of Fuzzy Systems, 2018

We often have to find an optimal route in a graph (e.g., a travel plan) while being uncertain about the exact benefit and travel time. To solve this Orienteering Problem under real-world uncertainty, we pioneer three fuzzy programming models and design a robust hybrid intelligent algorithm.

Impact of Heterogeneous Prior Contribution on Reciprocity in Online Sellers

Published in ICIS 2019 Proceedings, 2019

Does your online favor build a social bond or a debt ledger? Using machine learning techniques, we reveal that providing informational resources brings more reciprocation by fostering generalized social exchange, while providing instrumental resources creates self-interested and negotiated exchange, fundamentally altering community reciprocity.

The Impact of Politeness in Bidding Descriptions on Hiring Decisions in Online Labor Markets

Published in PACIS 2023 Proceedings, 2023

Different types of online social exchanges: Effects on online sellers’ sales performance

Published in Information & Management, 2024

Why do some e-commerce sellers gain competitive advantage from participating in peer communities while others do not? Our research shows that seller success is determined not by interaction frequency, but by the exact type of resources they exchange with others.
